Dyness Shines at RE+2024 and leads energy storage market in North America
Dyness, a global innovator of cutting-edge energy storage solutions, presented its multi-scenario energy storage solutions for users to contribute to the global zero carbon goal at Hall A-58039, at the highly anticipated RE+ 2024(Solar Power Internationa)which took place at the Anaheim Convention Centre from 10-12 September 2024 (local time) in Anaheim, USA.
At this year's show, Dyness exhibited its featured products such as Orion, Powerbox Pro and DH200Y.
The high-voltage household storage series Orion adopts an all-in-one design, with three capacity options available for a single unit, which can meet users' energy demand of 9.9-19.9kWh. The product is modular and plug-and-plug in design, making it more user-friendly for end-users to install. With an aluminium casing, the Orion series combines metallic aesthetics with practicality. Backed by a maximum 12-year warranty, the Orion series provides reliable power support for electric equipment and can also be used as a backup power source for whole-house loads, providing a stable power supply for users.
Dyness displayed the liquid-cooled industrial and commercial energy storage solution DH200Y, which can be used in multiple scenarios, such as peak/valley arbitrage, peak shaving and valley filling, demand control, and self-generation and self-consumption. The system adopts intelligent liquid cooling temperature control, with a temperature difference ≤3℃, effectively improving performance. In terms of design, the system adopts pre-maintenance schemes, full modularity, integrated EMS and BMS, and simple maintenance. The DC side expansion interface is reserved to support up to 10 parallel units to meet the application requirements of multiple capacity segments.
Renewable energy in North America accounts for 36% of the global market value. With the increasing demand for uninterrupted energy in the US, this country is expected to become the largest energy storage market in North America. Energy storage participation in the U.S. power market application scenarios is rich and varied, including frequency regulation, peak and valley arbitrage, peak shifting, standby, and reduction new energy abandonment, which are conducive to improving the economics of energy storage.According to Wood Mackenzie, from 2023Q1 to Q2, the U.S. household storage installed capacity is 293.2MW/769.4MWh, with a year-on-year growth of -1.9%/+8.5%. In terms of commercial and industrial storage, the installed capacity of commercial and industrial energy storage in the U.S. reached 101.6MW/310.3MWh, with a year-on-year growth of 14.3%/53.7%, which provides a broad space for the wide application of energy storage technology. With its profound accumulation and innovation in the field of energy storage, Dyness actively serves this market and is committed to providing customers around the world with better and more efficient energy storage solutions.
Dyness carried out a series of customer and partner interaction activities at its booth, and invited inverter brand partners such as Solis, and Hoymiles, to do in-depth household energy storage system technology and application sharing for dealers and installers. During the on-site roundtable discussion, Dyness and its customers conducted a discussion on the topics of ‘how to do a good job in local service, the safety and convenience of residential energy storage systems, and the outlook of the energy storage market in 2025’, which demonstrated the company's adherence to the localisation strategy, customer-focused value, as well as its commitment to the long-term business philosophy of technological innovation and iterative upgrading.
In addition, at RE+, Dyness held a certificate presentation ceremony with CSA Group, an internationally renowned certification body, for the UL9540 and other relevant safety standards, which Dyness Orion has acquired in 2023. As technology evolves, Dyness always puts product safety in the first place to ensure product stability and maximise customer value, and the Orion system's compliance with UL9540 and other standards is not only the foundation for the reliability of Dyness's in-depth development in the North American market, but also an important manifestation of the quality and safety of Dyness’ products.
With the mission of ‘promote digital energy, lower the cost of energy access, and lower the temperature of the planet’, Dyness continues to iterate its products, expand its global services, and adhere to technological innovation, and is committed to providing customers around the world with higher quality energy storage solutions. In the future, Dyness will continue to focus on the needs of the industry and work hand in hand with global partners to empower energy applications and build a sustainable future.
